Crotteau in Sunday, Nov. 3, 1996 Herald (Everett, Snohomish Co., WA) Allan V. Crotteau Allan V. Crotteau, 97, died October 31, 1996. He was born December 11, 1898 in Rice Lake, Wisconsin. Allan left his parents' dairy farm and small town life in the 1920s and had been employed as a construction worker, in a wholesale grocery house, a shipyard during World War II, 28 years managing an apartment house, and for 16 years with the Schlitz Brewery, "watching the bottles go by." He married Annette in 1941 and they raised three sons, who now live in Maine and Edmonds. The Crotteaus had relatives in Washington and after a visit they moved her in 1977. Allan is survived by his wife, Annette; their three sons, Robert, James and his wife Faith and William and his wife Shelly; two grandchildren, Emily Marie and Carole. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 6th at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Marysville with a reception following at the church. Interment will be at St. Mary's Cemetery, Marysville. Arrangements are under the direction of Solie Funeral Home.
