Submitted by: Kent Robarge 03 August 2007 ************************************************************************ Obituary of Hermaline (King) Crotteau in Wed., April 21, 1937 Rice Lake Chronotype (Rice Lake, Barron Co., WI) Mrs. Frank Crotteau Mrs. Frank Crotteau, 59, a resident of the town of Sumner, died Friday; April 16, at her home from the effects of a stroke. Hermeline Crotteau, nee King, was born April 23, 1878, in Rice Lake and made her home here throughout her lifetime. She was united in marriage with Frank Crotteau in 1894. She leaves to mourn her husband and seven children, three daughters, Melvina (Mrs. John Huiras), Valena (Mrs. Fred Boury), and Mrs. Exxillia Kummet, and four sons, Joseph, Alfred, William and Maurice, all of Canton. Also 30 grandchildren, four brothers and three sisters. Funeral services were held at St. Joseph's church Monday morning, the Rev. Fr. Niggemann officiating, and burial was made in St. Joseph's cemetery.
