Submitted by: Kent Robarge 03 August 2007 ************************************************************************ Obituary of Joyce (Swant) Crotteau in Wed., July 16, 1980 Rice Lake Chronotype (Rice Lake, Barron Co., WI) Joyce Crotteau Funeral services were held Friday at 10:30 a.m. from First Lutheran church of Barron for Joyce M. Crotteau, 41, of Rt. 1, Cameron, who died last Tuesday at an Eau Claire hospital. Dennis Rinehart officiated at the rites, and burial was made in Wayside cemetery. Joyce Swant, born Nov. 10, 1938 at Rice Lake, was a 1957 graduate of Barron high school. She married Gerald A. Crotteau Feb. 6, 1960 at Rice Lake, and has been active in the Cameron area working with 4-H groups. She is survived by her husband, Gerald, one daughter, Julie, at home, three sons, Jeffery, James and Jason, all at home; her parents, Marvin and Dorothy Swant of Chetek; one sister, Mrs. Elmer Huiras of Rice Lake; and a brother, James Swant of Chetek.
