(Nelson) [Krause] Crotteau in Jan. 31, 1985 The Spooner Advocate (Spooner, Washburn Co., WI) Margaret Crotteau of Sarona Dies Margaret M. Crotteau, age 54, a resident of Sarona, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 29, 1985, at the Indianhead Medical Center, Shell Lake. The former Margaret Nelson was born February 13, 1930, in the Town of Oak Grove in Barron County and was raised there. She had resided the rest of her life at Sarona. On January 5, 1963, she was united in marriage to Orville C. Crotteau at Shell Lake. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Shell Lake, and its St. Cecilia Guild. Survivors include her husband, Orville; one daughter, Mrs. Thomas (Audrey) Cusick, Shell Lake; two granddaughters, Tammy and Christine Cusick, and one grandson, Mark Cusick, all of Shell Lake; her mother, Irene Nelson, Rice Lake; two sisters, Bertha Hogeboom, Rice Lake, and Iva Kubista, Sarona; two brothers, Theodore Nelson, Salem, Oreg., and Norman Nelson, Sarona. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Shell Lake with Fr. Dean Buttrick officiating. Spring burial will take place in the Sarona Cemetery. Visitation will be after 3 p.m. Thursday at the Pockat Funeral Home, Shell Lake, where there will be an 8 p.m. scripture prayer service Thursday evening. Pallbearers will be Aage Duch, Mervyn Elliot, Anton Frey, Kenneth Hazelwood, Anton Roeser, Anton Zaoudek.
