Submitted by: Kent Robarge 03 August 2007 ************************************************************************ Obituary of Peter Alexander Crotteau in Wed., Oct. 13, 1971 Rice Lake Chronotype (Rice Lake, Barron Co., WI) Peter Crotteau, 90, Buried Wednesday Funeral services were held Wednesday morning for Peter A. Crotteau, 90, a Barron County resident all of his life, who died Monday morning at Lakeside hospital in Rice Lake. Rev. James Dabruzzi conducted the rites at St. Joseph's Catholic church in the city, and burial was in the church cemetery. Mr. Crotteau was born March 25, 1881 in the town of Doyle, and was a dairy farmer in the town of Sumner for many years. He is survived by a son, Donald of Canton; two daughters, Marie Barger of Milwaukee and Myrtile Immerfall of Cameron; seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
