Submitted by: Kent Robarge 03 August 2007 ************************************************************************ Obituary of Delephine (Gagner) DeMars/Demers in July 30, 1958 Rice Lake Chronotype (Rice Lake, Barron Co., WI) Saturday Services Set for Mrs. DeMars Mrs. Delephine DeMars, 66 and life-time resident of the Rice Lake vicinity died Wednesday morning after a brief illness. Services are planned for 9:30 Saturday morning in the Our Lady of Lourdes church in Dobie with interment in the church cemetery there. Rev. John Kauer will officiate at the services. In addition, a rosary will be said 8:30 p.m. Friday at the Schneider-Mason funeral home. Mrs. DeMars was born in Rice Lake June 8, 1892, and at the time of her death was residing in the Town of Oak Grove on Rt. 4, Rice Lake. Delor DeMars, her husband, preceded her in death ten years ago but she is survived by four sons. John of St. Paul, Victor and Maurice of Rt. 4, Rice Lake and Lawrence, who is stationed with the air force at Rapid City, S. Dak.; two daughters, Mrs. Leah Dorcey of Rt. 4, Rice Lake and Mrs. Edna Langman of Rt. 2, Chetek; a sister, Mrs. Virginia King of Rice Lake; three brothers, William Gagner of Eau Claire, John Gagner of Rice Lake, and Alec Gagner of Rodale, Calif., and seven grandchildren.
