Demars/Demers (son of Alexander Demers and Evalina Demers) From Rice Lake Chronotype July 31, 1985 "Francis "Fritz" Demars, 66, of Longview, Wash. died July 15. Funeral services were held at St. Rose Catholic Church in Washington, with interment in Green Hill Memorial Gardens. Mr. Demars was born May 10, 1919 in Rice Lake and in 1952, he and his family moved to Longview, Wash. Mr. Demars was past president of Longview Bowline Assn., and he was a member of the Longview-Kelso Bowling Assn. Hall of Fame. Mr. Demars is survived by three daughters, Nettie Mae Ervi and Patricia Hadley, both of Longview, Wash. and Kay Demars of Seattle, Wash.; two sisters, Irene Hart of Longview, Wash. and Averil Mancuso of Cedarburg; three brothers, Johnny "Jack" of Thousand Palms, Calif., George of Longview, Wash. and Harold of Monroe, La.; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren."
