Submitted by: Kent Robarge 10 December 2007 **************************************************************************************************************************** Obituary of Delia Demers in Wed., Mar. 30, Rice Lake Chronotype (Rice Lake, Barron Co., WI) Miss Delia DeMers Dies at Cumberland Funeral services were held Friday morning at St. Mary's Catholic church in Cumberland for Miss Delia DeMers, 69, long time resident of the Cumberland area who died last Tuesday at the hospital there. Rev. Thaddeus Lesniak officiated and burial was in St. Anthony's cemetery. Miss DeMers was born in New Castle, Neb. March 14, 1897 but had spent most of her life near Cumberland. She is survived by four sisters, Mrs. Leona Seeley and Mrs. Eva Danielson, both of Minneapolis, and Mrs. Alice Paquin and Mrs. Mary Beck, both of Cumberland, and by two brothers, Arthur and Raymond DeMers, both of Cumberland.
