Submitted by: Kent Robarge 03 August 2007 ************************************************************************ Obituary of Isadore Demers in May 1, 1991 Rice Lake Chronotype (Rice Lake, Barron Co., WI) Services Held Wednesday Isadore Demers, 93, of Rice Lake, died Sunday at the Lakeview Medical Center in Rice Lake. Funeral services were held this Wednesday at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church at Dobie with Rev. Allan Bradley officiating. Burial took place in the church cemetery. Mr. Demers was born Dec. 14, 1897 at Dobie. On April 25, 1922 he was married to Catherine Leibel at Dobie. They lived and farmed in the Dobie area until Catherine's death in 1981. He continued to live in Dobie until moving to Rice Lake in 1988. He was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose and the Rice Lake Senior Center. He is survived by four sons, Cyril of Turtle Lake, Anthony of Spooner, Frederick of Prescott, and Michael of Inver Grove Heights, Minn.; six daughters, Odelia Christensen of Oakdale, Minn., Bernadette Fegan of Rice Lake, Donna Anderson and Rena Kult both of South St. Paul, Emilie Kvapil of South Dakota, and Judy Moore of Menomonie, Mich.; 56 grandchildren; and many great and great-great-grandchildren.
