Submitted by: Kent Robarge 03 August 2007 ************************************************************************ Obituary of Leo Joseph DeMers in Wed., Nov. 14, 1962 Rice Lake Chronotype (Rice Lake, Barron Co., WI) Leo DeMers Rites Held at Cumberland Leo J. DeMers, 62, longtime resident of the Cumberland area, was buried Monday with services from St. Mary's Catholic church at Cumberland. Rev. Philip Krembs officiated and interment was made in St. Anthony's cemetery. Mr. DeMers, a farmer on Rt. 3, Cumberland for 27 years, died suddenly at his home Thursday. Survivors include his wife, Kathryn; two daughters, Mrs. Rosemary Phernetton of Coon Rapids, Minn. and Patricia at home; two sons, Eugene of Coon Rapids and Larry at home; two grandchildren and by six sisters and two brothers.
