Submitted by: Kent Robarge 03 August 2007 ************************************************************************ Obituary of Alfreida (Beland) Derousseau in Wed, Nov. 7, 1945 Rice Lake Chronotype (Rice Lake, Barron County, WI) Mrs. Alfreida Derusseau Mrs. Alfreida Derusseau, 68, 111 W. Humbird st., Rice Lake, died Nov. 1 of asthma at the home of her daughter, Mrs. L. P. Santerre, Rice Lake. Funeral services were held Nov. 5 at St. Joseph's church with the Rev. Bernard Niggemann officiating. Burial was in St. Joseph's cemetery. Pallbearers were Jacob Boehmer, Mike Demers, Pete Crotteau, Fred Burton, Fred Graevin, and Joe Amans. J.P. Schneider and Son had charge of this arrangements. Mrs. Derusseau was born April 7, 1877 in Barron county. She married Paul Derusseau in November 1893 at the Dobie church. They made their home in Rice Lake. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Santerre and Mrs. H. T. Bronson, Rice Lake, and Cordelia Derusseau, Chicago; two sons, Paul, Ridgeland, and Clifford, Franklinville, N.Y. Those from out of town at the funeral include Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Derusseau, Franklinville, N.Y.; John Parnell, St. Paul; Mrs. V. Potvin, Edmonton, Canada; Mr. and Mrs. Paul Derusseau, Ridgeland; Mr. and Mrs. Lavern Feisel, Dallas; Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Amundson, Spooner; and Cordelia Derusseau, Chicago.
