Derousseau in Wed., March 3, 1976 Rice Lake Chronotype (Rice Lake, Barron Co., WI) Longtime City Resident Dies Monday Archie F. Derousseau, 76, of 125 W. Humbird st., was dead on arrival Monday evening at Lakeside hospital following a heart attack at his home. Funeral services will be held for Mr. Derousseau, a lifelong resident of the city. Thursday morning at St. Joseph's Catholic church with Rev. John Spanjers officiating and burial in the church cemetery. He was born March 3, 1899 in Rice Lake. He was a member of the Legion, the Fellowship of Moose and the longest term member of the Rice Lake Moose club. He was employed by the American Excelsior mill as a machine operator until his retirement 11 years ago. He is survived by his wife, Lyna; two sons, John and Bernard, both of Rice Lake; three daughters, Earlene Asunto of Milwaukee, Shirley Humphrey of Ridgeland and Karen Wingad of Eau Claire; two sisters, Minnie Foster of Sheboygan Falls and Elelia Mattison of Rice Lake and 28 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Friends may call this Wednesday evening at Mason Funeral home. There will be a rosary service at 8:45 p.m., followed by a Moose memorial at 9 p.m.
