Submitted by: Kent Robarge 03 August 2007 ************************************************************************ Obituary of Lena (Hetzel) Derousseau in Dec. 30, 1981 Rice Lake Chronotype (Rice Lake, Barron Co., WI) Lena DeRusseau (sic) Funeral services were held this Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. from Appleyard's funeral home for Lena DeRusseau, 83, who died Monday at Lakeview medical center. Rev. John Spanjers officiated at the services, and burial was made in St. Joseph's cemetery. Lena Hetzel, born May 31, 1898, at Bloomer, married Eusebe DeRusseau July 25, 1923, at Minneapolis. She was a Rice Lake resident for most of her life. Her husband died in 1950. She is survived by three daughters, Eleanor Kolb of Rt. 2, Barron, Dorothy Lundgren of San Diego, Calif., and Viola Larson of Rice Lake; a son, Edward of San Diego, Calif.; 10 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; and one brother, Joseph Hetzel of Bloomer.
