(Robarge) Forrest (wife of Alfred E. Forrest) Anacortes American Wed, Feb 2, 1977 (Anacortes, Skagit County, WA) "Anna A. Forrest, 77, of Anacortes died in a local nursing home on Wednesday January 26, 1977. She was born April 14, 1899 in Rice Lake, Wisc. Her marriage to Alfred Forrest took place in Wisconsin in 1930. She had been an Anacortes resident for the past 47 years. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Eagles Auxilary #249, and Anacortes VFW of Anacortes. She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Ned (Irene) Degedio, St. Paul, Minn., one brother, Adolph Robarge, Rice Lake, Wisc., and numerous nieces and nephews. Services were held January 30, 1977 at Evans-Engdall Funeral Chapel. Father S. Jay Shanahan officiated at the funeral Mass on January 31. Interment was in Grandview Cemetery. The family suggests memorials to the American Cancer Society."
