Funeral services were held Nov. 6 at McVicker's Chapel on the Hill with Floyd Carpenter officiating. Burial was at Green Hills Memorial Gardens. Mr. Hart was born June 16, 1909 in Victor, Iowa, to Lydia and Logan Hart. He moved to Longview from Rice Lake in 1945. He lived in Longview until 1956, when he moved to Seattle. He returned to Longview in 1972 after his retirement. He worked as a jitney driver at the Longview Fibre Co. box plant. He was a member of the Kelso Elks, Kelso American Legion, Longview Moose and Longview Eagles. He enjoyed fishing, dancing and country-western music. He is survived by two daughters, Evalena Reardon of Kelso, Wash., and Marjorie Fuhrman of Longview; a son, Ray of Salkum, Wash.; 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren."
