Submitted by: Kent Robarge 03 August 2007 ************************************************************************ Obituary of Magnus Henrich in Wed, May 1, 1991 Rice Lake Chronotype (Rice Lake, Barron County, WI) Funeral Held Saturday Funeral services for Magnus "Maggie" Henrich were held Saturday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Rice Lake with Rev. James Powers officiating. Interment took place in St. Joseph's Cemetery where military rites were accorded him by the Rice Lake American Legion Post. Eighty-one year old Magnus Henrich of Rice Lake died April 23 at the Lakeview Medical Center. He was born Oct. 11, 1909 in Alton, Iowa. On Aug. 22, 1936 he was married to Rose Betz at St. Paul. They then moved to Rice Lake where was employed as a meat cutter for a number of businesses including Sykes Products Farm, and later Van Meters. His first wife preceded him in death in 1978. He was a U.S. Navy veteral of WWII, a member of the Rice Lake American Legion Post, and of the Knights of Columbus. He is survived by three sons, James of Prescott, William of Bristol, R.I., and Donald of Rice Lake; three daughters, Mary Ellis of Rice Lake, Donna Maas of Barron, Helen Danzinger of Durand; 12 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two brothers, Rudolph of Golden Valley, Minn., and Marcellus of Henderson, Minn., and one sister, Marie Larson of Canby, Minn.
