Edwin Halvorson

Edwin Halvorson, eldest son of Halvor and Annie Halvorson, was born
at Dallas, June 6, 1882 and died Sunday evening, August 25, 1940 at
the age of 58 years.

On November 29, 1911, he was married to Inga Severude of Maple
Grove.  They spent the greater part of the 29 years of married life
on their farm in Maple Grove.

To this union were born eight children:  Aneta, who died at the age
of 16, Orten who died at the age of 21, Philip who was married to
Fern Pihl of Minneapolis on August 24, 1940, Alden, Muriel, Vernon,
James and Leonie who reside at home.

Besides his family, he leaves to mourn his departure one sister,
Gena Lee of Dallas and three brothers, Alfred, Henry and John, also
of Dallas.
