Killeen Is Buried Monday A solemn requiem high mass for Mrs. Thomas Killeen, 88, for 66 years a resident of the Dobie community, took place at Our Lady of Lourdes church in Dobie Monday. Burial was in the church cemetery. Mrs. Killeen died Thursday in a DePere (Wis.) hospital after a long illness. One of her sons, Rt. Rev. S. M. Killeen, is abbott superior of the Norbertine abbey and head of Saint Norbert's college at nearby West DePere. He was the celebrant at the funeral mass. Also surviving are her husband, Thomas; two other sons, Rev. E. C. Killeen of Saint Norbert's faculty, and Dr. Emmett Killeen of Green Bay; a daughter, Miss Margaret Killeen of Green Bay, and three grandchildren. Born Bridget McLeod at Perth, Ontario March 18, 1868, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John McLeod, she came to the Dobie community with her pioneer parents in 1882 as a girl of 14. She grew to womanhood there and in 1896 was married to Thomas Killeen of Dobie. The couple farmed near Dobie until retiring several years ago and in 1948 moved to Green Bay to be near their children. They observed their 60th wedding anniversary in 1955.
