King in Feb. 2, 1983 Rice Lake Chronotype (Rice Lake, Barron Co., WI) Louis J. King Funeral services will be held this Thursday for Louis J. King, 76, of 616 W. Eau Claire St., Rice Lake, who died Sunday at Lakeview Medical Center in Rice Lake. Father John Spanjers will officiate the 10:30 a.m. ceremonies from St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Rice Lake and burial will be made in the church cemetery. Mr. King was born April 30, 1906 at Dobie and married the former Evelyn Phillipsen on May 27, 1927 at Rice Lake. He was a partner in King Brothers Construction Co. at Rice Lake and was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose in Rice Lake. He is survived by four brothers, Anthony (Tony), Francis (Fat), Medric (Med) and Harvey (Hub), all of Rice Lake; two sisters, Cecilia Schnacky and Loreen Beach of Rice Lake; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn, on May 13, 1981.
