Submitted by: Kent Robarge 03 August 2007 ************************************************************************ Obituary of Jerry Kucko in Wed., Dec. 18, 1996 Rice Lake Chronotype (Rice Lake, Barron Co., WI) Jerry Kucko Jerry Kucko, 74, of Rice Lake died Dec. 12 at Lakeview Medical Center. Private services were Monday and burial was at Nora Cemetery. Mr. Kucko was born Feb. 26, 1922 in Washburn County to Louis and Emma Kucko. He married Shirley Gygli on July 27, 1946 in Rice Lake. He had worked for Secore Bros. and Bob Crotteau doing masonry and carpentry for 25 years. He and his wife also owned and operated a dairy farm in Rice Lake for 25 years, retiring in 1986. Mr. Kucko had been an avid fisherman and hunter. He is survived by his wife, Shirley, four sons, Dennis, Richard, Michael and Mark Kucko, all of Rice Lake; a daughter, Cindy Pacholke of Rice Lake; 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; three brothers, Francis of Iowa, John of Rice Lake and Lester of Arizona;and four sisters, Helen Kucko of California, Ann Kucko of Washington, Marjorie Kucko of Arizona, and Evenlyn Solie of Rice Lake.
