Submitted by: Kent Robarge 10 December 2007 **************************************************************************************************************************** Obituary of Frances (Leinenkugel) Liebau in Monday, October 22, 1956 Eau Claire Daily Telegram (Eau Claire, Eau Claire County, WI) Mrs. Frances Liebau Dies at Hospital Mrs. Frances Liebau, 68, of 558 Erin St., died Sunday at the Sacred Heart hospital. The funeral will be held at 8:30 a.m. from the Golden Funeral home and at 9 a.m. from Sacred Heart church, Rt. Rev. Msgr. John W. Pittz officiating. Interment will be in Forest Hill cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday afternoon and evening. Parish rosary will be said at 8 p.m. Wednesday evening. Mrs. Liebau was a member of St. Ann's Society of Sacred Heart parish. The society members will recite the rosary Wednesday at 3 p.m. Mrs. Liebau is survived by a brother, Matt J. Leinenkugel, Eau Claire, and several nieces and nephews. Obituary of Frances (Leinenkguel) Liebau in Wed., Oct. 24, 1956 Rice Lake Chronotype (Rice Lake, Barron Co., WI) Former Resident Dies in Eau Claire Mrs. Frances Liebau, a long time resident of Rice Lake who left here for Eau Claire some 15 years ago, died at an Eau Claire hospital Sunday morning after a lengthy illness. She was the widow of Paul Liebau, who died about 17 years ago and was for a long period director of the Rice Lake city band. Funeral services are planned for Thursday morning from the Sacred Heart Catholic church at Eau Claire, and burial will be made in the church cemetery. Mrs. Liebau is survived by one brother, Matt Leinenkugel of Eau Claire, and by several nieces and nephews.
