McDonald.- Lenora, wife of Thomas McDonald, died at Hayward, on the morning of the 25th inst., in the 34th year of her age. The deceased was the youngest daughter of Bradford Butler of Sumner. She came, with her husband, from Columbia county when Sumner was new, and they have filled so important place in its history that their absence has been a cause of general regret. She was converted, and became a member of the M.E. Church, about nine years ago; and those who knew her best, believe that she wa prepared to join "The Church of the first born who are enrolled in Heaven." The deceased ws an invalid for several years, yet she possessed such energy and cheerfulnes (sic) as to endear herself to many persons at Hayward, and a large concourse of relatives and friends, in Barron county, manifsted their bereavement at her funeral on the 27th inst.
