O. Butler received a telegram Monday morning, from Hayward, that their daughter, Mrs. Thos. McDonald, died at her home in Hayward on the same day, and that they might expect to meet the husband and son with the corpse, as Canton the following afternoon and follow the remains to the Sumner cemetery. The parents and brother came down from Hayward, about a year ago, with the corpse of their daughter and sister, Anna, and laid her away in Sumner cemetery and now the mother follows. Oh, what sadness this life brings to us; where shall we fly for relief? In this life it is not to be found, only as we loose sight of self and let the light of God control our sinful hearts.
