Submitted by: Kent Robarge 03 August 2007 ************************************************************************ Obituary of David E.McLellan in Wed., Dec. 19, 1956 Rice Lake Chronotype (Rice Lake, Barron Co., WI) Sumner Resident Dies at Madison David E. McLellan, a resident of the town of Sumner for many years, died Friday in a Madison hospital at the age of 77. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon in the Canton Methodist church. Rev. Virgil W. Nulton of Rice Lake officiated and burial was in Lakeview cemetery in Chetek. Mr. McLellan was born March 6, 1879, in Canada. He was married Nov. 30, 1905, to Elva Marsh, who survives him. Also surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Kenneth Stearns, Mrs. John Main, Mrs. Lawrence Halvorson and Mrs. Marvin Anderson, all of Rice Lake; two sons, Orville and Clarence of Cameron, and 16 grandchildren.
