Submitted by: Kent Robarge 28 September 2003 ************************************************************************ Obituary of Laura (Amans) Mercier in July 28, 1971 Rice Lake Chronotype (Rice Lake, Barron County, WI) Mrs. Mercier, 75, Buried Monday Funeral services were held Monday from St. Joseph's Catholic church for Mrs. Laura Mercier, 75, of 404 Phipps av. who died Friday morning at Lakeside hospital after a long illness. Rev. Daniel Dahlberg officiated and burial was in the church cemetery. Mrs. Mercier was born Oct. 24, 1895 in Rice Lake and had spent her entire life here. She is survived by her husband, Fred; two sons, Donald of Eau Claire and Stan of Rice Lake; two daughters, Mrs. Lu Davis of St. Paul and Mrs. Lorraine Hammer of Madison; three sisters, Mrs. Clarice Bungartz of Rice Lake, Mrs. Violet Burry of Waukegan and Mrs. Pearl Rick of Milwaukee; one brother, Harry Amans of Rice Lake and by ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. © All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm
