Barron Co Shield 5 Nov 1915  pg 1 col 2 Mrs Anna Nilson

At the home of her daughter, Mrs Amundson, in the village of Dallas,
on October 17, 1915, occurred the death of Mrs Anna Nilson.  She was
born in Valders, Norway, November 1, 1838, emigrated to this country
in 1881 she and her husband settling on a farm in Maple Grove, where
they resided until three years ago when she went to live with her
daughter.  Mrs Nilson endured the privations of pioneer life but
through it all was always ready with kindly words and deed to aid
others.

To Mr and Mrs Nilson were born ten children, two having passed away
in infancy.  The funeral services were held in the Maple Grove
church, Rev Kirkeburg, officiating and the remains interred by the
side of loved ones gone before.
