Penzkover in Wed., Nov. 25, 1959 Rice Lake Chronotype (Rice Lake, Barron Co., WI) Paul J. Penzkover Is Heart Victim Paul J. Penzkover, 78, a lifelong resident of the town of Doyle until retiring to Rice Lake five years ago, died last Wednesday evening after suffering a heart attack at his home. Funeral services were held Monday morning from St. Joseph's Catholic church, with Rev. Arthur Weber officiating, and burial was made in Our Lady of Lourdes cemetery at Dobie. Mr. Penzkover was born Dec. 1, 1880 in Rice Lake, and was married to the former Mary McLeod early in life. He is survived by his wife; eight sons, Clement of Birchwood, Harold, Kenneth and Richard of Rice Lake, Henry of Spooner, Vernon of Wisconsin Rapids, Donald of Milwaukee, and Robert of Mauston, and three daughters, Mrs. Ethel Bennet of Wisconsin Rapids, Mrs. Ruth Grant of San Francisco and Mrs. Mary Fields of Mauston. There are also 34 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. One son, Irvin, preceded his father in death in 1954.
