Submitted by: Kent Robarge 03 August 2007 ************************************************************************ Obituary of Agnes (Bayer) Raawe in Wed., March 13, 1957 Rice Lake Chronotype (Rice Lake, Barron Co., WI) Mrs. Agnes Raawe Buried at Cameron Mrs. Agnes Emilie Raawe, 52, of Colfax died Thursday afternoon in a Chippewa Falls hospital after a lengthy illness. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon in the Bremer funeral chapel in Colfax and Monday afternoon in St. John's Lutheran church in Cameron. Rev. Edwin R. Becker officiated and burial was in Pine Grove cemetery at Cameron. Mrs. Raawe was born March 8, 1904, in Cameron and married Dec. 25, 1922 to Alvin Raawe, who survives her. They moved to Colfax five years ago. Other survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Elaine Cass of Spencer, Wyo.; two sons, Harvey of Palo Alto, Calif., and Palmer of Chippewa Falls; her mother, Mrs. Carl Bayer of Cameron; five brothers, Erhard of Janesville, William of Chetek, and Carl, Martin and Warner of Cameron; three sisters, Mrs. Alvina Frankenberg and Mrs. Hazel Fjelsted of Cameron and Mrs. Emilie Rongstad of Rice Lake.
