Raawe in Jan 30, 1985 Rice Lake Chronotype (Rice Lake, Barron Co., WI) Herman C. Raawe Herman Raawe, 95, of Cameron, died Jan. 23 at the Rice Lake Convalescent Center. Funeral services were held Saturday at First Lutheran Church in Rice Lake, and burial was made in Meadow Creek Cemetery. Mr. Raawe was born March 11, 1889 in the township of Stanley. He was baptized and confirmed at First Lutheran Church in Rice Lake, where he remained a lifelong active member and held numerous offices. On Dec. 18, 1919, he married the former Bertha Krug in the township of Stanley. They farmed in the Stanley area and lived on the same farm all their married lives, celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary in December 1979. He served on the Stanley Town Board for 38 years. He is survived by his wife; one son, Alfred of Cameron; and two daughters, Irene Raawe of Wauwatosa and Dorothy Raawe of Franklin.
