This file was contributed for use in the USGenWeb Archives by: Kent Robarge 5 February 2001 ==================================================================== Emma Belland (wife of George Robarge, daughter of Charles Beland and Mary Corneau) Obituary, Rice Lake Chronotype May 21, 1930 (Rice Lake, Barron County, WI) "Mrs. Emma Robarge, aged 61, a pioneer resident of this community, died at her home on Route 6 last Thursday, May 16, of heart trouble. She was born in the province of Quebec, Can., Oct. 10,1868, and when 3 years old she came with her people to Chippewa Falls. Three years later the family moved to Rice Lake, where she has lived since. She was united in marriage to George Robarge 42 years ago, at Dobie. To this union 12 children were born, as follows: Victoria (Mrs. Floyd Whitney) of Poskin; Anna (Mrs.Alfred Forest) of Rice Lake;Irene (Mrs. Ned Digidio) St. Paul; Josephine (Mrs. Melvin Whittaker) Rice Lake; Lawrence, Felix, Adolph and Arthur, all of Rice Lake. One daughter, Melvina, and three sons, Louis, Peter, and William, are deceased. Her husband also survives. Requiem mass was held Saturday morning at St. Joseph's Catholic church and burial was made in the Catholic cemetary here" (St. Joseph's Cemetary)
