Robarge/Roberge and Salome Demers) Rice Lake Chronotype Wed Jan. 2, 1963 obituary (Rice Lake, Barron County, WI) HL:"Alec Robarge, 86, Former Clothier Is Buried Today" "Alec C. Robarge, 86, a native of the Dobie community who for many years operated clothing stores in Rice Lake and later in St. Paul, died Monday at a local hospital after a lengthy illness. Mr. Robarge had returned to live in Rice Lake three years ago after retiring from a clothing store which he operated on Snelling av. in St. Paul for many years. Funeral services were held Wednesday morning from St. Joseph's Catholic church here with Rev. Arthur Weber officiating, and burial was to be made in Calvary cemetery in St. Paul. Mr. Robarge was born Feb. 2, 1876 in the town of Stanfold, and was associated in business here with the late Henry Schneider until moving to St. Paul some 40 years ago. He is survived by one sister, Mrs. Minnie Robarge of Millardville, British Columbia, and a brother, Raymond, of Rice Lake. He had been a widower since 1959."
