Mrs. Norbert Robarge, aged 72, sister of Mrs. Louis Gagner, Sr., and a former resident of Rice Lake, passed away at her home at Cornell, Wis., yesterday. The remains are being shipped to Rice Lake this evening, and the funeral is to take place Thursday morning at St. Joseph's church. A more extended obituary will be published next week." Rice Lake Chronotype March 2, 1927 "It is claimed by old residents here that Mrs. Norbert Robarge, whose death was mentioned last week, was the first white girl born in this locality, if not in the entire county. She was born on a farm east of Rice Lake, January 27, 1855, her maiden name being Miss Celina Labrie."
