Robarge/Roberge and Madeline Denoncourt, husband of Leah Demers/Demars) Rice Lake Chronotype Apr. 24, 1968 obituary (Rice Lake, Barron County, WI) HL:"Edward Robarge Rites Planned Here Thursday" "Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday from St. Joseph's Catholic church for Edward Robarge, 86, of 325 Bone av. who died Monday evening at a local hospital. Rev. James Dabruzzi will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery. A rosary will be recited by the Catholic Order of Foresters at 8 p.m. today and a parish rosary is planned at 8:30. Friends may call at the Mason Funeral chapel. Mr. Robarge was born in Barron county Feb. 4, 1881 and had lived in this area all of his life. As a young man he helped his father move homes and he later worked in lumber mills and as a farmer, retiring to Rice Lake in 1941. He is survived by his wife, the former Leah Demars; four sons, Harry of Spanish Fork, Utah, Clarence of Provo, Utah, Donald of San Lorenzo, Calif. and Bernard of Hayward, Calif.; three daughters, Mrs. Madeline Sinclair of Rice Lake, Mrs. Marcella Lundquist of Rice Lake, and Mrs. Marian nelson of Darien, Wis.; 26 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren. Mr. and Mrs. Robarge had celebrated 65 years of marriage last July 1."
