Robarge and Adele Rose Demers, husband of Nola Leona Labrie) Rice Lake Chronotype Jan. 24, 1979 obituary (Rice Lake, Barron County, WI) "John J. Robarge. John J. Robarge, 86, of 412 Bone av. in Rice Lake, died Friday at Lakeview Medical center. Funeral services were held Monday morning from St. Joseph's Catholic church in Rice Lake with Rev. William Horath officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. Mr. Robarge was born June 12, 1892 in Oak Grove township, and lived there most of his life, farming in the area until retiring in 1958. He married the former Nola LaBrie on Nov. 30, 1927 at Duluth. He was a member of the Rice Lake Senior Citizen's center. Mr. Robarge is survived by his wife, Nola, seven sons, Frances of Lawton, Okl., Myrle and Gene of Rice Lake; Harold, Harmon and Richard of Waukesha and John, jr. of Hopkins, Minn.; six daughters, Marcella Hall of Turtle Lake, Maxine Slayton and Janice Slayton of Rice Lake, Ruth Belle Isle of New Richmond, Jean Knaack of Milwaukee and Veronica Soper of Balsam Lake; three sisters, Eva Demers of Rice Lake, Mina Southerland of Duluth and Josephine Martindale of Cudahy; one brother, Nap of British Columbia; his mother-in-law, Alice LaBrie of Rice Lake and by 43 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one son, Harvey, and one daughter, Annabel."
