Robarge (son of George and Emma Belland) Rice Lake Chronotype May 30, 1945 obituary (Rice Lake, Barron County, WI) "Lawrence J. Robarge, 57, Rt. 6, Rice Lake, died May 20 at a Madison hospital after an illness of several months. Funeral services were held May 24th at the First Lutheran church, Rice Lake, with the Rev. W.W. Doering in charge of the services. Pallbearers were Emil Voelker, Albert Kamrath, Leonard Hildebrandt, John Berger, Otto Lucht and Cecil Welch. Burial was in Meadow Creek cemetery. A.J. Hyllengren had charge of the arrangements. Mr. Robarge was born Sept. 23, 1887 at Dobie. He married Minnie Raawe Dec. 23, 1907 and they lived in Rice Lake for a time before moving to a farm near Cameron. Since 1922 they have farmed in the town of Stanley. Mr. Robarge was a member of the First Lutheran church for many years and served on committees of the Church board at various times. Survivors are his wife; three sons, Walter, Cameron; Harold, in the Armed Forces overseas; Ernest, at home; two daughters, Mrs. Ben (Agnes) Weed, Rice Lake; and Carol, at home; two brothers, Adolph and Arthur, Rice Lake; three sisters, Mrs. Floyd Whitney, Mrs. F Forrest, Anacortes, Wash; Mrs. Ned Digidio, St. Paul; and nine grandchildren."
