Funeral services were held Tuesday from St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Rev. Jim Powers officiating and burial in the church cemetery. Mrs. Robarge was born March 22, 1910 to Alice and George LaBrie in Barron County. She later moved with her parents to the Prairie Farm area where she was raised and educated. She married John Robarge on Nov. 30, 1927 in Duluth. They farmed in Oak Grove Township from 1927-1958, before moving to Rice Lake. Mr. Robarge preceded her in death in 1979. Mrs. Robarge was a member of the C.C.W. of St. Joseph's Parish, the VFW Ladies Auxilary of Rice Lake, the Women of the Moose, and teh Rice Lake Senior Citizens. She is survived by six daughters, Marcella Hall of Turtle Lake, Maxine and Janice Slayton, both of Rice Lake, Ruth BelleIsle of New Richmond, Jean Knaack of Plymouth, Minn., and Veronica Soper of Centuria; seven sons, Frank of Burlington, Kan., Myrle and Gene, both of Rice Lake, Harold and Harmon, both of Waukesha, Richard of Mukwonago, and John Jr., of Burnsville, Minn.; a sister, Violet Brunette of Rice Lake; a brother, Adolph Labrie of Altoona; 50 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild."
