Submitted by: Kent Robarge 03 August 2007 ************************************************************************ Obituary of Emil Roux in Wed., Aug. 21, 1974 Rice Lake Chronotype (Rice Lake, Barron Co., WI) Emil Roux is Buried in Dobie Cemetery Emil L. Roux, 66, of 135 W. Evans st., Rice Lake, resident of this area most of his life, died suddenly last Wednesday morning at a Menomonie hospital after a brief illness. Funeral services were held Friday morning at St. Joseph's Catholic church in Rice Lake, with Rev. James Dabruzzi officiating. Burial was in Our Lady of Lourdes cemetery at Dobie. Mr. Roux was born April 1, 1908 in Rice Lake. He had recently been making his home with his mother, Celestine Boehmer, who survives him. Other survivors include two sons, Raymond and Lloyd of Milwaukee; one daughter, Lois Verovatz of Milwaukee; seven grandchildren; a sister, Rita O'Brien, and two brothers, Louis and Leslie, all of Rice Lake.
