Submitted by: Kent Robarge 28 September 2003 ************************************************************************ Obituary of Emma Belle (Reynolds) Roux in Thursday, Oct 12, 1922 Rice Lake Chronotype (Rice Lake, Barron County, WI) Mrs. Henry Roux Mrs. Henry Roux, formerly of this city, died suddenly of heart failure on Monday morning at her home near Canton, at the age of 56 years and 9 days. Emma Belle Reynolds was born in Randolph county, Indiana, in 1864. With her parents she came to Wisconsin at the age of twelve years and had resided in Barron county ever since. Besides her husband she leaves to mourn her loss four children: Joe of Couderay, Mrs. Minerva Odlin of Janesville, William of Duluth and Mrs. Derousier of Denver, Colo.; also five step-children and two sisters: Mrs. Dan Frasier and Mrs. Arvilla LaForge of this city. Funeral services were held on Wednesday afternoon from the farm home and at 2 o'clock at the Presbyterian church in this city, the Rev. C.E. Burdon giving the funeral sermon.
