Obituary of Wilfred Roux in Tuesday, July 17, 1973 Milwaukee Journal (Milwaukee, Milwaukee Co., WI)

Roux, Wilfred
  Formerly of Cudahy, Sun., July 15th age 85 years; beloved father of Larry (Kathleen), Verna (Wilfred) Haines, and Clayton (Jane); dear step-son of Celestine Boehmer; brother of Anna Poppel of Cornell, Wis.; half-brother of Louie, Emil, Leslie Roux and Rita O'Brien; also survived by 12 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and other relatives.  Funeral Wed. at 10:30 a.m. from the Rembowski & Son Funeral Home, 2408 E. St. Francis Ave. to St. Frederick's Church at 11 a.m. Interment Holy Sepulcher Cemetery. In state Tues. from 4 to 9 p.m. with parish vigil at 8 p.m. Member of Holy Name Society


note: 1900 census shows name of Wiley Roux with Feb 1887 birth, son of Jeffery Roux.  Also known as Fred Roux.
