Rundhaug Funeral Wednesday Funeral were held this Wednesday morning from St. Joseph's church for Mrs. Demerise Rundhaug, 70, of the town of Rice Lake, with Msgr. Peter F. Meyer officiating. Burial occurred in St. Joseph's cemetery. Mrs. Rundhaug, who died at a local hospital Saturday after a long illness had spent her entire life here. She was born April 7, 1885 in the town of Rice Lake, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John B. DeMars. Surviving her are three sons, Clifford Demars and LaVerne Demars, both of Rt. 3, Rice Lake, and Sever Rundhaug of Rt. 4, Rice Lake; one daughter, Mrs. Martin (Mabel) Quinn of Rt. 1, Rice Lake, and 19 grandchildren. Other survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Edmund Brunette and Mrs. Henry Crotteau of Rice Lake,and two brothers, Alex DeMars of Cumberland and Eugene DeMars of Rt. 3, Rice Lake. Her first husband, Ferdinand Demars, whom she married in 1904, died in 1922. In 1924 she was married to Martin Rundhaug, who died in 1934.
