Submitted by: Kent Robarge 03 August 2007 ************************************************************************ Obituary of Olivia (Gagne) [Crotteau] Saglin in Wed., July 11, 1956 Rice Lake Chronotype (Rice Lake, Barron Co., WI) Mrs. Saglin Dies; Lifelong Resident Funeral services were held Saturday morning in Saint Joseph's church for Mrs. Olivine Saglin, 80, of 125 W. Humbird st., who died Thursday in a local hospital. Msgr. Peter F. Meyer officiated and burial was in the church cemetery, under direction of the Schneider-Mason funeral home. Mrs. Saglin was born May 11, 1876, in the town of Rice Lake and was a lifelong resident of this area. Surviving are her husband, Oscar Saglin of Rice Lake; two sons, Harry Crotteau of Racine and Alex Crotteau of Milwaukee; two daughters, Mrs. Victoria Rousell of Milwaukee and Mrs. Lyna Derousseau of Rice Lake; four sisters, Mrs. Ewalie Goulet of Rice Lake, Mrs. Sara Crotteau of Sarona, Mrs. John Krug of Auburn, Wash., and Mrs. Leo Ausman of Elk Mound; three brothers, Ed Gagner of Manitowoc, Sipplian Gagner of Norfolk, Va., and Charlie Gagner of Rice Lake; 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Her first husband, John Crotteau, died Jan. 14, 1916, and she married again on June 30, 1921.
