This file was contributed for use in the USGenWeb Archives by: Kent Robarge 09 April 2001 ==================================================================== Rose Adele (Robarge) Schieffer (daughter of ALexis Joseph Robarge and Adele Rose Demers, wife of John Peter Schieffer) Obituary in May 25, 1971 Rice Lake Chronotype HL: Mrs. Schieffer, 80, Dies at Milwaukee "Mrs. Rose Schieffer of Milwaukee, 80, a former resident of the Dobie area, died Monday evening at a Milwaukee hospital after a long illness. Funeral services will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church at Dobie with Rev. John Kauer officiating and burial will be made in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday afternoon and evening at the Mason funeral home in Rice Lake. Mrs. Schieffer was born Oct. 21, 1890 in Dobie. She is survived by six sons, Bernard and Francis of Milwaukee, Marcellus of East St. Louis, Leo of Plant City, Fla., Jerome of San Francisco and Edmund of Waukesha; 4 daughters, Mrs. Christina Franco of Plant City, Fla., Sr. Arnolda of Elm Grove, Mrs. Theresa Hogleberg (Note: probably Hazelberg) of Milwaukee, and Julia King of San Francisco. There are also 5 sisters, 2 brothers, 37 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren."
