Submitted by: Kent Robarge 03 August 2007 ************************************************************************ Obituary of Obeline (Derousseau) Secore in Wed, Apr. 22, 1970 Rice Lake Chronotype (Rice Lake, Barron County, WI) Obeline Secore Dies on Monday Funeral services were held today, Wednesday, at St. Joseph's Catholic church for Mrs. Obeline Secore, 82, who died Monday at the Barron hospital. Rev. James Debruzzi officiated and burial was in the church cemetery. Mrs. Secore was born March 27, 1888 at Rice Lake and and had farmed with her husband, Frank, near Rice Lake for 55 years before moving to 203 W. Messenger st. in 1955. She had been a resident of the Hughes Nursing home for several months. She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Bernice Demers, Mrs. Lillian Schneider and Mrs. Marcella Barbee, all of Rice Lake and Mrs. Leona Currier of Ironwood, Mich.; 30 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren, a brother, Phillip Derousseau of Tacoma, Wash. and a sister, Mrs. Celestine Boehmer of Rice Lake.
