Submitted by: Kent Robarge 03 August 2007 ************************************************************************ Obituary of Paul Spaete in Wed., Jan. 24, 1979 Rice Lake Chronotype (Rice Lake, Barron Co., WI) Paul Spaete Paul Spaete, 69, a former Rice Lake resident, died suddenly Wednesday, Jan. 17 at Sturgeon Bay, apparently suffering a heart attack while shoveling snow at his home. Funeral services were held there Monday. Mr. Spaete had worked in Rice Lake at the Central Market and later at Sykes Products, and in 1956 moved to Sturgeon Bay, where he operated the A&W root beer stand. He is survived by his wife, Helen, of Sturgeon Bay; four sons, Robert, Gordon, Dennis and Richard, and one daughter, Bev Robarge of Racine.
