Submitted by: Kent Robarge 03 August 2007 ************************************************************************ Obituary of Frank St. Louis in Wed, April 7, 1965 Rice Lake Chronotype (Rice Lake, Barron County, WI) Cameron Pioneer, Frank St. Louis, Services Thursday Frank St. Louis, 82, a pioneer resident of the Cameron area, died Monday at his home at Cameron after a lengthy illness. Funeral services are set for Thursday morning at 10 o'clock from St. Peter's Catholic church at Cameron with Rev. Alphonse Zoltowski officiating. Burial will be made in St. Joseph's Catholic cemetery at Rice Lake. Mr. St. Louis was born at Cook's Valley, near Bloomer Feb. 4, 1883, and came to Cameron with his parents as a child. He was married to the former Ernestine Rolette in North Dakota, and the couple lived in that state until returning to Cameron in 1929. He was employed there in several factories until his retirement. Survivors include his wife; four sons, Francis of Milwaukee, Henry of Jordan, Minn., William of Columbia, S. Car., and Fred, with the armed forces in Germany, and one daughter, Mrs. Louise Robarge of Cameron. There are also two sisters, Miss Lucy St. Louis of Cameron and Mrs. Amelia Albrecht of Kennewick, Wash., as well as 20 grandchildren.
