Submitted by: Kent Robarge 03 August 2007 ************************************************************************ Obituary of Sister Mary St. Louis in Wed., Aug. 30, 1978 Rice Lake Chronotype (Rice Lake, Barron Co., WI) Sr. Mary St. Louis Sr. Mary Gerard St. Louis, 58, of Ladysmith, a native of Barron, died last Wednesday. Services were held Saturday in the Chapel of the Motherhouse at Ladysmith. Burial was in the Motherhouse cemetery. Sr. Mary was born in 1920 and entered the order of the Servants of Mary in 1934. During her 44 years with the order, she taught school in Wisconsin, Illinois, New Jersey and West Virginia. She is survived by two brothers, George of Cameron and Lyle of Milwaukee; and six sisters, Mrs. Marie Brooten of Cameron, Mrs. Theresia Hanson of Turtle Lake, Mrs. Rose Mirwald of Visalia, Ca., Mrs. Meyrle Castonia of Cameron, Mrs. Pearl Olson of Drummond and Mrs. Cecelia Brooten of Chetek.
