Submitted by: Kent Robarge 03 August 2007 ************************************************************************ Obituary of Henrietta (Derousseau) Thibert in Wed., Apr. 29, 1925 Rice Lake Chronotype (Rice Lake, Barron Co., WI) Mrs. Henrietta Thibert Mrs. Henrietta Thibert, aged 57, wife of Jesse Thibert of Route 1, died from lung trouble at 7 p.m. Sunday at her home on the Fred Roux farm on Route 1, east of the city. Henrietta Derousseau was born in Canada and at the age of 11 years moved with her parents to this country, setting on the homestead four miles east of Rice Lake over 45 years ago. Several years later she was married to Jesse Thibert and they moved to Cameron, where they were engaged in the hotel business and other lines for a number of years. Of late they have made their home on the farm east of Rice Lake, Mrs. Thibert is survived by her husband, one daughter, Mrs. Fred Roux of Route 1; four sons, Cyril and Xavier of Port Edwards, Wis., Louis of Hibbing, Minn., and Elmer on the home farm; four brothers, Philip Derousseau of the state of Washington, Dominic Derousseau of Alberta, Can., Cyril Derousseau on the farm east of the city, and Med Derousseau of this city; four sisters, Mrs. Ed Beaudoin, 31 W. Douglas street, Mrs. Anton King, Hatten avenue, Mrs. Jeff Roux and Mrs. Frank Secore, both of Route 1, besides many other relatives. Funeral services took place at Our Lady of Lourdes church in Dobie this morning.
