Urban in Wed., Aug. 21, 1968 Rice Lake Chronotype (Rice Lake, Barron Co., WI) Andrew G. Urban Dies Here Monday Andrew G. Urban, 63, a retired coal miner who had lived in Haugen for the past four years, died suddenly at a local hospital Monday evening. Funeral services will be held Thursday morning from Holy Trinity Catholic church at Haugen with Rev. Claude Victora officiating and burial will be made in St. Joseph's cemetery at Rice Lake. Mr. Urban was born Nov. 29, 1904 at Edenborn, Pa., and had worked most of his life for Pittsburg Consolidated Coal Co. in that area. He was a charter member of the United Mine Workers of American, carrying card No. 951, and was also a member of the Jednota Slovak Union of America and of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. Survivors include his wife, the former Irene Crotteau; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Dominich and Mrs. Margaret Rabatin of Cleveland, and Mrs. Helen Radvansky of Hopwood, Pa.; and a brother, Frank Urban of Hopwood.
