Burlington; he was born in Germany, February, 1809; came to Wisconsin in 1854, and located in Burlington Township, where he has been farming since; he married in Burlington in 1859, Miss Christina Komping, who was born in inany in 1829 they have five children- Elizabeth, born in 1860; Mary, 1863; Anna, 1865; Phena 1867; Christina, 1869; owns 120 acres, most of it under cultivation; members of the Catholic Church in Burlington.
