MRS. ISAAC KITTENGER (widow of Isaac Kittenger), farmer, Sec. 17 P O. Caledonia; was born in New York in 1823. Married Isaac Kittenger in 1845. Came to Wisconsin in 1855. She has three children living- William, Loretta and Charles; lost one son, Franklin, who enlisted Aug. 16, 1862, in the 22d Wis., Co. H, and died in the hospital at Murfreesboro, Tenn.; Mr. Kittenger also served three years in same company and regiment; participated in all the battles his company was engaged in, and was mustered out in July, 1865.
